Own see it – means (a) that you clearly don’t understand or (b) no

Example: “Girl, let’s go to Bike Week!”

Own trust it – means that something is unbelievable, untrue

Example: “They saying Beyaki pregnant that’s why they got married so fast.”

Me: “Own trust it cuz they been dating since 02, getting married after six years ain’t fast!”

I can’t – means that you disagree or have trouble seeing the importance/relevance of something and don’t want to be apart of/associated with it.

Example: “I’m so sick of this Pope crap tying up traffic and clogging up my tv!”

Me: “I can’t.”

I won’t – see def. for I can’t.

Example: “I’m so sick of this Pope crap tying up traffic and clogging up my tv!”

Me: “I can’t and I won’t.”

*crickets* – means silence. You have nothing else to add to the conversation. You have no comments.

Example: “I think Jazzy Pha would be cute if you unwrapped all that fat.”

Me: *crickets*

*blank stare* – means you can’t believe what was just said or done.

Example: “Can you loan me money until pay day next Friday?”

Me: *blank stare*

Nevamind – means please spare me the details. I don’t care.

Example: “Girl so n so told me he loved me and I think I love him too!”

Me: “Nevamind…

TAKE ME OFF – means please delete me from the rest of the conversation because whatever is being said is dumb/retarded/stupid/unbelievable/untrue/fabricated/unimportant.

Example: “I’m serious this time. He thinks he can stay here and not pay for shyt! I’m sick of him!”

Me: “Take me off, please. Thanks!”

Whatwassssaiddd – means (a) retelling a story and/or gossip in a humorous way or (b) asking you to repeat what really happened, making sure you got all the details.

Example: “He said she was somebody he knew back in the day and that saw each other out recently and they exchanged numbers. I mean what would you do?”

Me: “Whatwasssssaiddd? I can’t.” *LOL*

Hmpf – means (a) I agree, (b) you dayum right, (c) whatever.

Example: “Dayum, you wearing them jeans!”

Me: “Hmpf!”

SON – means you’ve got to be kidding me.

Example: “She’s having another baby! This makes number four!”

Me: “SON!”

*sigh* – means you understand, you agree, extending compassion/happiness, the same is true for you.

Example: “I’m fat.”

Me: *sigh*

What in the azz – means what? huh? and/or you can’t be serious.

Example: “Did you see Miss Rap Supreme on VH1?”

Me: “What in the azz is this?”

*Tears*, *Dead*, *Dyin*, *Weak*, *Kilt* – means you are laughing hysterically with tears in ya eyes and/or on the verge of death!

Example: “I saw bout four nigs selling the POPE t-shirts at Andrews yesterday. Why we always gotta hustle?”

Me: *Dead*

Needs more people/more people are needed – means get da fuk outta here with that crap *LOL*, I don’t believe crap you saying, I can’t.

Example: “Did you see Kim P. in Jet? She said Diddy is a man before he is her man!

Me: SON! More people are needed!

Nope – means I don’t agree, you can’t be serious. If it pertains to how someone is dressed/how they look then it means they look a hot.azz.mess. This can also mean I can’t and TAKE ME OFF. They are synonymous. *LOL*

Example: “Ok let’s talk about the club chick with the buttafly azz tat. What was she thinking?”

Me: “Nope.”

[insert word].[insert word].[insert word] [emphasis placed on the (.)] – means that you really mean the crap you saying.

Example:”Girl, Al Reynolds-Jones is not gay.”

Shalalamalala – means you speaking in tongues cuz the truth just been told.

Example: “Boris could get it!”

Me: Shalalamalala!!!!

*side eye* – means to cut your eyes to the left or right without moving your head or neck when somebody says/does something outlandish.

Example: “I got whatever you need ma!”

Me: *side eye*

Blehhhh – means I can’t be bothered, leave me alone, I ain’t enthused, I ain’t satisfied, I need more.

Example: “We fitna go to the club tonight!”

Me: “Blehhhh!! I’m good.”

CTFU – means cracking the fuck up!

Example: “YKYDAW is funny as shit!”

Me: “Yes the people who comment on there be wilding! CTFU!”

SMASH/NO SMASH – means you’d {sexually} knock the brakes off somebody!

Example: “Yoooo did you see Idris Elba in Obsessed??”

Me: “SMASH!”

I refuse – see I can’t/I won’t/*side eye*/own see it/own trust it.

Example: “They finally released the raw footage of MJ’s Pepsi commercial.”

Me: “I refuse.”

Lawdzzz – means I ain’t feeling it/you right now or are you serious/kidding me?

Example: “He said his mama had to move in with him cuz she sick.”

Me: “Lawdzzz!”

Hoenastics – means chick/hoes doing gymnastic type moves in the club.

Example: “Is she really in the middle of the club with her shit on the floor? [translation: doing a full split LOL]

The Tea – All that is good, what’s hot.

Hood Puss – A chick who looks as though she’s from the projects…you’d smash but never tell homies about it.

Azzclown – Stupid, dumb, irritating, annoying azz people.
